Terms of Service

By accessing or using MailBridge ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

MailBridge is an email migration service that allows users to transfer email data between email providers such as Gmail, Microsoft Outlook, and other IMAP-compatible services. The Service:

• Reads emails from a user-connected source email account
• Writes those emails to a user-connected destination email account
• Preserves email metadata (subject, date, sender, recipients, labels)
• Operates as a pass-through — email content is not stored by MailBridge

To use the Service, you must:

• Create an account with a valid email address
• Be at least 13 years of age
• Provide accurate registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials

To perform migrations, you will connect your email accounts via OAuth. By connecting an account, you:

• Grant MailBridge permission to read emails (for source accounts) and write emails (for destination accounts)
• Confirm you have the legal right to access and migrate the emails in that account
• Understand that OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and can be revoked at any time

You agree NOT to:

• Migrate emails from accounts you do not own or have authorization to access
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Exceed reasonable usage limits (we reserve the right to throttle or limit abuse)

Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• Email content passes through the system and is not stored
• OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest
• Migration metadata is retained for service operation

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance
• Third-party service outages (Google, Microsoft, etc.)
• Technical issues beyond our reasonable control

• Email delivery: We are not responsible for emails that fail to migrate due to provider limits, account restrictions, or network issues
• Attachment size: Emails with attachments exceeding the destination provider's limits may be migrated without those attachments
• Third-party APIs: The Service depends on third-party APIs (Google, Microsoft). Changes to these APIs may affect service availability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MailBridge shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from third-party service interruptions

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from the dashboard. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

• Stored OAuth tokens are deleted
• Active migrations are cancelled
• Migration metadata is retained for 90 days then deleted

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which MailBridge operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
